kylie here to introduce our new brand. say hello to okay birch! we design, laser cut, and craft wood pieces. we’ve grown from making modern & affordable wood jewelry to creating so much more. we can’t wait to share everything else we’ve been working on 🤗

in honor of 2023 coming to an end, here’s what i spent most of my time working on: dugouts!
big shoutout to @wanderingbud for keeping me busy. these dugouts are specifically designed for their “sprout” piece and our customers love them so much i can’t seem to make enough.
hoping to make some changes in 2024 to streamline the process and give the people what they want, so keep an eye out for what’s to come!
obviously i’m wearing these today

and yes, i am using my wine glass to hold my phone 🍷
O D D L Y satisfying
there are many steps involved in making our dugouts for @wanderingbud, but sanding is just so satisfying. fun fact: we do two rounds of sanding on a belt sander then finish off sanding each dugout by hand.

ITS FIRST FRIDAY WEEK 🤍 see you all on friday starting @ 5:30 at @doubleshiftbrewing. our new pieces will be available 👀
& we are OFFICIALLY alive!
yesterday we gave up on our usual payment processing and opted to use paypal in the meantime. today we finally solved the issue. it is what it is, and we are just happy everything is *finally* working again.
thank you for being patient, hope y’all love the new pieces as much as we do 🙈
our new collection is officially live on the website!
technology is great, until it isn’t. we have been troubleshooting an issue with our payment processor, and while we are still trying to work out the kinks we decided to launch using paypal for the time being. if you have any questions or issues while trying to shop the new pieces, please don’t hesitate to shoot us a message 🤗
hope you like the new earrings as much as we do.
hi! wanted to update y’all: we’ve encountered a technical difficulty but will be launching new products so soon 🙌
in the meantime, here’s a lil sneak peek at what we have been working on. ☺️
kylie living her best life: drinking beer on the amalfi coast. on our trip to italy we were thinking about all the places around the world our jewelry has been 🗺🛩 pretty cool that pieces we’ve made have traveled far and wide.
a glimpse behind the scenes of our process when making our dugouts for @wanderingbud 💚
okay, one more because we are obsessed 🍻 hannah asked us to design a set of five custom tap handles and we had a really fun time with the design process. we decided on a small and pretty minimal design showcasing the flower in the @floralsandfoam logo but went with a fun gradient stain. might be a bit biased, but they turned out pretty fun.
new taps in action at @floralsandfoam. can’t wait to visit you in chicago to try them out for ourselves 🤗
we’ve made a handful of tap handles, but these might be the new fave 🌹
a year ago today! we were sanding away on dugouts. in the last year we’ve totally redesigned the dugouts, bought our own laser cutter, significantly improved our processes, moved our studio to kylie’s basement. so much progress! excited for you all to see what’s coming this spring 🌸
we’ve been less present here and just wanted to give all you lovelies a quick update as to why: we have been BUSY 🤍 kylie is teaching a first year architecture studio class at UMKC in addition to her job at BNIM. cass is a full time student on top of working at kala. aside from all that we’ve had some much delayed travel and celebrating to do. while we are still making time for no, not sisters, we won’t be producing quite as much this holiday season. stay tuned for a small update in the coming weeks though 🎁🎄

we LOVE custom orders. @shelby.lynn.pence and @sawyer_pence got married this month and we were honored to make them a custom cake topper, coasters, and magnets for their entire wedding party. they wanted a design that mimicked the glass pattern on their whiskey glasses 🥃 such a fun idea + project, CONGRATS guys! 🖤
